Aiming the FIFA, UEFA and the Hungarian Football Federation’s slogan, Aqvital FC Csákvár is determined to be a “front-liner” in the fight against discrimination, for fair-play and fair supporting. In that spirit was the project named “Stadium in the Stadium” established. Our club has contacted all the first division teams of the four top European leagues – Italy, England Spain and Germany (having also been in touch with some Hungarian clubs already), and shared the idea with them: all we are asking from them is just one single seat from the stand of their own stadium as a gift to Aqvital FC Csákvár, which will be labelled with their club’s logo and installed in a designated stand of our stadium. In that way, relics of ancient opponents may be seated beside each other: Real Madrid sea along that of Atletico Madrid, Manchester United’ along City’s, or just the seat of Ferencváros next to Újpest’s. With this project we wish to draw supporters’ attention to the fact the opponent is not an enemy!
What the receipt was like from the biggest clubs: Manchester United answered our e-mail in two minutes and ensured they would support the project. Bayer Leverkusen established contact between our club and the German Football Federation’s responsible stating that calling for fair play in any form is one of their prime tasks of highest importance.
For today’s press conference autographical shirts were already posted in the club’s room: Real Madrid, Arsenal, AC Milan, AS Roma, Werder Bremen, 1860 München, West Bromvich Albion, UC Sampdoria, as well as the Hungarian Nationa Team shirt decorate the walls.
At the press conference, our head coach, Bognár György reported the journalists on the preparations of our newly promoted NB II-National Second Div. team and the pre-season expectations. Nagy Sándor club owner took the occasion to introduce Krizán Sándor, sports manager, former youth Hungarian International to the media, who worked for Nyíregyháza Spartacus in the last season as the future sports director of the club.
